Ben Schooley
The Boss
Hailing from the mighty metropolis of Boerne, Tx, Ben has done a bit of everything. He has been a teacher (while teaching six classes during graduate school), an events coordinator (as a facilities manager in Kissimmee, FL), a medical clinic administrator (while managing MRI facilities), a copy boy (a job he won’t even talk about!), and a jungle gym for his two kids. But, of all the things he's done, he's enjoyed running this company the most. Ben graduated from Texas Tech University from both undergrad and grad school, he plays guitar, and loves to be outside. His favorite color is green, and Tom and Jerry cartoons make him laugh till he cries.
Jeanna Goodrich
The Storyteller
Too short to be an astronaut, Jeanna is a writer, designer, and Trinity graduate who enjoys the Harvard comma. She and her amazing cat, Otto, are new to the big city of Boerne, a metropolis compared to her hometown of La Grange (yes, the one in the ZZTop song). Jeanna loves being outside, physics, Buc-ee's, singing with the San Antonio Germania Chor, and road trips; she hates cold weather and Facebook. Fact: Jeanna once missed a Calculus test to stay home and play Tetris, and her high score is over 20,000,000 points. When she grows up, she wants to be a mom. But mostly, she doesn't want to grow up—readily apparant in her Scary Monsters lunchbox and Star Wars notebooks.
Morgan Schooley
Sales-Meister
Morgan, a native of Boerne, graduated from Texas Tech University in 2002. After working in the high-end restraunt industry, the investment industry, and home construction, Morgan now finds himself in the world of publishing, specifically in the Kerrville area. A big fan of auto racing and RC Cars, Morgan loves spending time with his hobbies and a cold beer—and, of course, with his lovely and beautiful wife Sarah. If you're hungry, call Morgan: he's a wizard with a crock pot.
Alison Turner
Office Ninja
Alison was born in California and got to Texas as fast as she could. A graduate of Comfort High School, she has been a resident of the Hill Country for most of her life. She attended Trinity University and graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in English. Alison devotes her time outside of Schooley Media to her family’s chocolate company, her charity work and her boxer, Zeppelin. Alison enjoys trail rides, Swiss army knives, and her unhealthy relationship with the History Channel (she is what Ben would call a "nerd.") She apologizes in advance for hounding you about whatever invoice, article, picture and/or widget we need from you this week.
Guido
(Not-So) Public Accountant
Guido works in our Collections Department. Used only in extreme circumstances, Guido assures that invoices get paid. He has some unique techniques that he utilizes, most of which he won’t tell us about. Originally from Queens, NY, Guido relocated to the Hill Country following a botched “hit”. Moonlighting as a goon and henchman in the area, Guido eventually found his way to us, and we’ve enjoyed having him. Surprisingly, he’s also a great watercolor artist, focusing almost exclusively on kitties. Here’s to hoping you never have to meet Guido.
Maddie
Certified Stress Reliever
Maddie is SMV’s Corporate Mascot. Charged with the tasks of ball-fetching, and annoyingly sleeping under your desk, Maddie keeps us on our toes. Additionally, she has perfected the “get a beer from the fridge” command, as well as ensuring that no glass door is free of nose prints.
